a woodlander ponders.

she has stars in her head.
(this one was inspired by this quote i found earlier this week,
His head is made of stars, but not yet arranged into constellations. - Elias Canetti. It is strange too because i don't not mean for the girl to look like anyone in particular but when i was done, i realized she looked just like my mother when she was younger. it's appropriate i suppose because my mother's name is diana which is the roman equivalent to artemis, the goddess of forests and hills and also the moon).

a family of ravens.
(this illustration was inspired by a little fact i found. ravens, in japanese culture, are considered to be a symbol of family. so i drew a small family of ravens, surrounded by other things and symbols which all mean different things, at least to me, for family).

he brings the secrets of the woods.
will put up in the shop soon! :)
